I've been plagued with the Jason Wu bug.
With all the hype surrounding the release of Target's Jason Wu's collection, I just couldn't help it.
It's all over the internet, on TV commercials, on blogs that I read daily.
The more I saw it, the more I want to take part.
So of course, I teamed up with my partner in shopping- Hazel!
She became very savvy when searching for Missoni items when Target released that line in September. People were going crazy and nothing could be found in stores after the first day. But with Hazel's relentless determination, she scored a TON of stuff.
...for herself, for me, for Camille. I'm sure much more than I'm even aware of.
But anyway, back to the Wu collection...
H & I had somewhat of a plan. We reviewed what pieces we both desired, so that if either of us came across any of those pieces we'd just grab it for each other.
We knew this was going to be crazy, so being prepared was a must.
We headed to one Target and were greeted with a line of people, most of them there for the fashion sale. Once the doors were opened, everyone raced over to the Jason Wu section.
People were reaching over me and not being very polite about grabbing stuff off the racks.
It was crazy!
Okay don't laugh; we raced over to two more Targets in search of accessories and anything that we couldn't get our hands on. Everything was gone fast, and I'm not surprised.
I purchased a lot and after going home and reviewing my purchases, I also returned a lot.
The pieces are pretty & dainty and I can see how his line can be desired. I think we scored pretty well, but after all was said and done, I ended up with these pieces and I'm content with it.

I love the color and the pleated design.
This clutch was at the top of my list and the one item that I really had my heart set on.
It was sold out FAST and was no where to be found. But once again, Hazel was able to pull some strings and I will be the owner of this beautiful piece in a few weeks.

I got this in navy blue as well, but decided to keep this color instead. I love this shade of pink.
I found this dress online. I never really thought black and navy blue went well together, but this dress is a prime example that it can definitely be pulled off.
That was a pretty fun shopping adventure.
Did you take part and/or did you get some cute Jason Wu pieces?
